Ariel Peters-Angelucci is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Texas and is on the path towards obtaining Clinical Licensure (LCSW). She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned a master’s in social work from Our Lady of Lake University. She is also a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher specializing in Ayurveda and Therapeutic Foundations.
Her educational background has given her the skills to work in the following areas: substance abuse disorders, domestic violence, veterans, the LGBTQIA+ community, family therapy, group therapy, and dual diagnosis.
She takes a client centered approach in therapy as she guides clients to identify their individual goals, needs and strengths. This serves as a map in determining which tools and psychoeducation clients will need to be provided in order to navigate back to their true self.
This therapeutic process requires active participation from the client and therapist. For this reason, Ariel regularly engages in continued self-study and continuing education to ensure a safe, calm and non-judgmental space is created for clients to grow vulnerable in. She looks forward to helping her clients feel empowered as they work towards their unique healing journey.
Ariel is under the clinical supervision of Dr. Carla Groves, LCSW-S.
