As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I incorporate into my sessions multiple clinical client-centered approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices through Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy.
I completed Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice at Sul Ross State University, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Texas San Antonio, and I am a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran. My social work experience includes individual mental health counseling, group therapy, case management services, and utilization review.
My clinical experience over the years is cultivated from my passion of working with multiple age groups, ethnicities, and socioeconomic class. I have extensive experience with clients who are experiencing:

- Depression and Anxiety Disorders
- Substance Abuse and/or Dependency
- Body Dysmorphia
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder secondary to Military Service
- Gender Identity Disorder
Psychotherapy is a process. For this process, to work in the client’s benefit the therapeutic relationship is a collaboration between the client and the clinician. I strongly hold belief of being authentic, providing a space of respect and dignity for all my clients. In this world, every person is a unique blessing. and we all can learn something from each other.
