Deborah Hoselton, LPC

Deborah Hoselton, LPC

Welcome! I am a Texas licensed clinical therapist who works with adolescents, adults, and seniors. I believe that true healing happens when one feels empowered to make change and this best happens within a strong therapeutic relationship. I provide individual, family, and couples therapy and my approach draws upon various clinical disciplines and techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), and Prolonged Exposure therapy (PE).

I provide a comfortable and safe space to explore the answers you may be seeking. Through thoughtful listening and reflection, we will work through the challenges you are facing. By cultivating and nurturing our therapeutic relationship, we can pursue your goals in a caring and non-judgmental atmosphere. Together we will foster increased insight into your life and improve your coping capacity.

The therapy we do will be tailored to meet your specific needs and we will set goals based on those needs. I can assist in addressing a variety of other concerns such as depression, grief and loss, anxiety, relational and interpersonal challenges as well as many other concerns.

My clinical background began over 20 years ago working in the substance abuse field and has included working in the non-profit sector with personals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, treating victims of crime, and most recently specializing as a Certified Trauma therapist treating our military service members who suffer from PTSD as well as other mental health concerns.
