Jasmine is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University, Master of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix, and a Certificate in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. Jasmine has over 10 years of clinical experience and works with diverse populations of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her experience includes adults and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, serious mental illness, psychosis, trauma, homelessness, and anger management. Jasmine is skilled in crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, suicidal ideation, and homicidal ideation. Jasmine has over 9 years of experience supervising and clinically leading outpatient clinics, crisis programs, residential hospitals, and integrated treatment teams.
Her approach to therapy emphasizes strengths while utilizing a client-centered approach, solution focused therapy skills, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Jasmine guides clients in identifying centerpieces of strength and stability within their lives to assist in navigating through difficult moments. She uses a holistic approach to therapy which guides clients in addressing unresolved trauma and understanding the linkage between presenting problems and underlining trauma.
