Linda Pusateri, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has practiced in multiple positions for over 25 years. With a strong background in medicine and masters completion in clinical psychology, Ms. Pusateri completed her masters in the field of social work from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA. Her focus as a clinical social worker is to provide a more holistic, human approach to behavioral health in both individualized and group-based formats. Her practice has included working with all age groups, inpatient and outpatient facilities, providing individual and group therapy. She has provided court assessments, adoption assessments, family therapy, and work with assault victims, sexual abuse and offenders interventions, and domestic violence intervention.
She has provided services and developed intervention and advocacy programs in community mental health, reduction of recidivism in female prison populations, extensive work with individuals during the AIDS Crisis, and end of life issues. She is trained in substance abuse diagnostics and dependency interventions. With the rise of the opioid epidemic, she developed a program for chronic pain patients in 2017 based on an evidence-based practice intervention. Her training linked her to veterans and individuals in crisis due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and military family life issues in both Del Rio and San Antonio, TX. She is a Certified Internal Behavioral Health Consultant as trained by the United State Air Force, Lackland AFB in 2013.
Her approach to therapy is holistic and integrated. While being a strong, multiple treatment-based theoretical clinician, assessment provider, and diagnostician, she maintains the basic belief that “without change, there would be no butterflies”. She has been licensed and practiced in MT, NC, LA, and TN. She has maintained an active license in TX. Ms. Pusateri has also completed LCSW supervisor training. She is available to work with LMSW’s who seek to progress to LCSW status.
