I empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles to improve their lives. I obtained my Masters of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Using clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions, I have worked with inpatient and outpatient clients. I provide therapeutic modalities addressing various symptoms, disorders, and life situations. I provide a safe, comfortable, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to explore life challenges. I use a diversified approach specific to the needs of each client and am able to affect positive change and growth.
I have worked with active duty, veterans, military dependents, first responders, domestic violence victims, and civilian populations throughout my career. I provide trauma counseling, moral injury counseling, IPV/DV counseling, grief counseling as well as counseling for depression and anxiety. I am specialized and certified as a Trauma therapist treating our military service members and Veterans who suffer from PTSD. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, ACT, person-centered focused approach, strength-based approaches, solution focused techniques, trauma informed care, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, C.O.P.E., Cognitive Processing Therapy, and mindfulness practices. I have experience around combat trauma, first responder trauma, military sexual trauma, sexual trauma, moral injury, childhood abuse, family violence, acute trauma, crisis intervention, co-occurring substance use, medical issues, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression.
