Russell is a resident of San Antonio and a United States Army veteran with a core passion for helping people in need. He received his Master of Social Work degree in Mental Health from the University of Southern California. Russell began his counseling career working with non-profit organizations that catered to at risk youth and supporting families battling drug addiction problems. He sincerely believes that with encouragement and support, each person can overcome life challenges and heal. He has experience working with members of the military, veterans, children, individuals, groups, and families. He works in treating anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD, along with a variety of other mental health issues such as treating and minimizing the effects of sexual assault and domestic violence. As a social worker, he aspires to empower individuals, families, and communities to bring about profound change.
Russell’s passion is in helping people tap into their resilience and become the best person they can be. His mission and life’s purpose is to help people improve their wellbeing in times of stress and difficulties. He enjoys helping others identify strengths, and help people find solutions to emotional roadblocks, and life hardships.
Russell says, “I am energized by new ideas, and I embrace the uniqueness of all individuals. I enjoy critically analyzing challenging situations to explore solutions to problems. I encourage people to share their thoughts and express themselves as they desire.”
