Tessa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her Bachelor in Social Work at New Mexico Highlands University and her Master of Social Work from University of Texas in San Antonio. Tessa has spent the last 8 years working in renal healthcare (dialysis). Tessa works with young adults, the elderly, people with disabilities, people with chronic illness and veterans. Tessa has experience working with depression, anxiety, grief, coping with chronic illness, death and dying and stress management.
Tessa has a passion for helping people is a skilled listener and believes in working in partnership with clients to utilize their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. She is a strong advocate for her clients and works to help them overcome any obstacles they may face. Tessa utilizes a strengths based approach, solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, self-care and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Tessa is married and enjoys spending time with her family which includes her two fur babies. Tessa likes anime, to travel and turtles.
