In 2014, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Psychology from Trinity University. I earned my master’s in social work from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2016. I have past experience working in community mental health clinics, inpatient hospitals, the local county jail, and mental health courts.
In therapy, I focus on empowering my clients by identifying their strengths, building their resiliency, and assisting in developing coping strategies for life challenges. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. By taking a person-centered approach, I provide guidance as clients navigate through their emotions and support them as they take control of their life and make positive steps towards change. I am sensitive to the diverse needs of my clients and strive to provide a place where clients feel safe as we work together towards healing.
